The CW has ordered a third-season renewal for Arrow, the CW show that starred Stephen Amell as the hero and was canceled after four seasons.
The renewal comes at a time when the network has had to make difficult choices about what to do with its popular series.
The network is currently in negotiations to spin off the Arrow show into a new network, but those negotiations have stalled.
Arrow is set to return in 2018 for a fourth season.
The CW and Netflix have yet to announce a renewal date for the show, which was created by Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg.
The CW series also has two upcoming seasons on the air in the spring, with the fourth season set to debut next fall.
